Derek H. Burney is Senior Strategic Advisor to Norton Rose Fulbright Canada. He is Chairman of Garda World’s International Advisory Board, Chairman of Alanna Inc., Chairman of Enablence Technologies Inc. and a member of the Advisory Board of Paradigm Capital Inc.?Mr. Burney was President and Chief Executive Officer of CAE Inc. from October 1999 until August 2004. Prior to joining CAE, Mr. Burney was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Canada International Inc. (1993-1999).?From 1989-1993, Mr. Burney served as Canada’s Ambassador to the United States. This assignment culminated a distinguished thirty-year career in the Canadian Foreign Service, during which he completed a variety of assignments at home and abroad, including a period as a Deputy Minister of External Affairs.?From March 1987 to January 1989, Mr. Burney served as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. He led the Canadian delegation in concluding negotiations of the Canada-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and was the Prime Minister’s personal representative (Sherpa) in the preparations for the Houston (1990), London (1991) and Munich (1992) G-7 Economic Summits.?In February 1992, Mr. Burney was awarded the Public Service of Canada’s Outstanding Achievement Award. In July 1993, he was named an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Mr. De Jong recently founded and is the Managing Partner of De Jong & Co., a boutique merchant bank engaged in principal investment and financial advisory services. Prior to that, in 2004 he had co-founded and was Managing Director of Jemekk Capital Management Inc., a hedge fund manager on behalf of high net worth and institutional clients focused on small and medium capitalized Canadian companies. From 1998 to 2004 Mr. De Jong was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston where he most recently served as Director and Head of Canadian Equities. Mr. De Jong began his career in the investment business at Sprott Securities Inc. in institutional equity sales.
Daniel Shmitt was appointed a Director of the Company on September 8, 2017.? Mr. Shmitt is currently the CIO for Disney Streaming Services (Formerly BAMTECH Media LLC,?a global leader in direct-to-consumer streaming technology and marketing services, data analytics, and commerce management, and a spin-off of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the interactive media and internet arm of Major League Baseball.)? Mr. Shmitt transitioned to Disney from Major League Baseball, following an announcement by The Walt Disney Company that it had agreed to pay an additional $1.58 billion to acquire an additional 42% stake in, and majority ownership of BAMTECH LLC.? Prior to the acquisition Mr. Shmitt held the role of?CIO for the three entities of Major League Baseball (MLB) (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, Major League Baseball Office of the Commissioner, and Major League Baseball Network).? He provided MLB’s strategic vision, and defined the roadmap for all back-office technology for the three entities.? Before joining MLB, Mr. Shmitt presided over Shmitt Technologies LLC, a technology consulting firm headquartered in New York City that he founded in 2006 and sold in 2015.? Mr. Shmitt earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Major in Information Systems and holds several technical certifications.
